*Sunday's Worship*

The laziness of the curtains
gently moving in the February breeze
coming through the window
open to the children bursts
and to the seagulls shrieks.

The sky looks so much higher
when you watch it
from down my pillow.
And so much wider,
when it comes to us.

And the chilly air on our face
Is like frozen fingers of reality
We chop out with the smooth edge of the duvet
Caving our smiles under its cover
Bubbling the moment in a warm caress.
